"If I wasn't working with interior design, I would work with flowers"

In 2015, Amelia started a company with the purpose of realizing his dreams in interior design. Four years later, Amelia still sits in the workshop, which she calls her office on Artillerigatan, and sketches on the dream. The idea behind Meli Meli was born from a passion that the home should reflect a place where you are free and can be yourself and the inspiration she gets from all the other things she holds dear in life. Maybe that's why every piece of furniture is named after her favorite flowers – something that Amelia could have been able to devote his life to instead if it hadn't become interior. Instead, she unites her interests and creates playful interiors that we have seen, yet never seen before.

Amelia wants to create interiors that reinforce the vision of a restful place for recreation. A timeless, international home that is comfortable to live in without compromising the design level. In the future, she dreams of decorating a hotel and in the long run open up a Meli Meli Maison.

- What is your favorite product?
The Luca sofa! It is the first piece of furniture I designed and it is still my favorite. We have Luca Grande in off white at home that accommodates the whole family.

• What is Meli Meli in 5 years?
"In 5 years, Meli Meli will have developed her product range so that you can decorate an entire home with only products and furniture from Meli Meli

• If you didn't work in interior design, what would you do for a job?
"Then I would definitely work with flowers.
